LAYOUT & USAGE

Proturf Leduc is a 10,000 sq ft turf facility with approximately 9,100 sq ft of usable turf

  • The entire playing area is protected by netting

  • There is four retractable batting-tunnels designed with sport-netting and a backstop curtain that also retracts from the right wall

  • Tunnels are useful for batting but also to divide larger groups into different work stations

  • Tunnels 1 and 4 (on the diagram) are 70’ long x 18’ wide

  • Tunnels 2 and 3 are 70’ long x 12.5’ wide

  • All batting-tunnels are completely out of the way when not required

Facilities

  • Proturf Leduc has two washrooms available for teams to use. In order to maximize turf space, these washrooms were designed small—they will not accommodate teams as full change rooms. Players should arrive mostly dressed to play

  • There is a filtered water-fill station at the entryway. On the playing surface only water is allowed

  • The entryway also has a small seating area and a place for outdoor footwear
